Founder of Synergy Engineering Ltd. in 1987, currently President & Chairman. Previously launched and grew Dynequip Engineering leading to its merger with Transwest Machinery. Over 30 years experience with the design, manufacture
and commissioning of electrical equipment for the materials handling industry.
An accumulated knowledge of the industry gained from previous positions
with General Electric, Wescan Mining Trucks, Dynequip Engineering and Trans
West Dynequip. |

David C. Atkinson, Executive Vice President and Director
Over 30 years of general management experience in natural resource, manufacturing,
process and service industries. Over 15 years of domestic and international
corporate business development experience with demonstrated success in
new company start-up, joint venture creation and integration, merger and
acquisition, strategic alliances, and new product development. Previous
executive roles with Noranda Inc., ABB, and other international corporations
in engineered product and service delivery platform sectors. |

Harry Doughty, A.Sc.T, Manager, Power Distribution
Over 25 years of experience in the
design and delivery of industrial power distribution equipment
including power systems design for complete conveyor drive
and crusher drive systems, the manufacture of associated
switchgear, engineering management, project management. |

Nicole
Hampton, P.Eng, Manager, Business Development
Engineering of motor control for
a broad range of materials handling applications. Over 10
years experience in design, manufacture, and testing of wound
rotor motor (WRIM) secondary resistive controllers (SRC).
Internationally recognized subject matter expert in WRIM
SRC technology, providing consulting services for drives,
analysis of existing drive systems, feasibility studies and
WRIM SRC specific technology training. R&D, engineering,
and project management. |

Russell A. Carder, Manager, Instrumentation & Control
Extensive mining history including
supervision of the electrical and instrumentation department
consisting of two trade disciplines in a union environment.
Managed electrical, instrumentation, and process control
maintenance in the mine's fully-automated 35,000 tpd concentrator,
solvent extraction, and secondary crusher plants. Implemented
design, procurement, and scheduling for electrical and control
system expansion projects, upgrades, and new installations. |

Shu Li, Manager, Logistics & Procurement
Ms. Li brings to Synergy over 10 years of experience in international shipping, trade, customs clearance, tracking and trans-shipment logistics, and project logistics management experience, as well as recent familiarity with large-scale material logistics handling. Her early business years were spent in China, with her most recent years here in Canada in positions of increasing responsibility with companies that design, engineer and manufacture large-scale industrial systems for a global customer base.
Shu is a graduate of BCIT's CITT Transportation and Logistics Management Program, holds degrees in Computer Science from the Science & Technology University of China and in International Trade from Ji Lin University. Shu's multilingual capabilities include English, Mandarin and Cantonese. |

Po Wong, CGA, Controller
Po has a CGA designation backed by a Bachelor's Degree of Business Administration from the Chinese University of Hong Kong. His solid experience in both manufacturing and service accounting in major international companies is coupled with hands-on experience of setting up and running multi-location operations in Canada.
Po has been in Controllership roles for a number of different operating businesses within ABB Canada and ABB China and most recently with the Utility Boiler business of Alstom Power.

Rob
Gilmaine,
EET, Manager, Projects
Mr. Gilmaine brings to Synergy a depth of experience in engineering
design, project management, maintenance management, and best-in-class
service fulfillment platforms, backed by exceptional strength in
electrical & instrumentation technologies and Quality practices.
Rob's plus-20-year successful track record in capital project management
and maintenance supervision has included such industrial and engineering
icons as Domtar, Stothert Engineering, MacMillan Bloedel and H.A.
Simon – Tecsult Engineering. Bilingual in English and French,
Rob is an Electrical Engineering Technician educated in Montreal
at the École Métropole Technique and the École
Polytechnique,
and
in Vancouver
at BCIT. |

Nelson Podesta, Manager, Administration & Finance, Chile
Mr. Podesta is a seasoned finance and management professional with over 10 years of experience in financial and business planning, accounting and administrative operations, and joins Synergy following a successful career in the Chilean industrial sector.
Mr. Podesta possesses a General Accountant Degree in Finance & Administration, augmented by additional training in Computer Application Systems Analysis.
Nelson joined the Synergy team in January, 2008 and is based out of the Santiago office.

Allan Baus, General Manager, Synergy Ingeniería Ltda.
Mr. Baus has 15+ years of progressing responsibility in the Chilean industrial
sector with such recognized companies as Bechtel, Sigdo Koppers, Phelps Dodge,
Minera El Abra and Complejo Portuario Mejillones.
An industrial civil engineer with a Mechanical Degree from the Pontificia Universidad
Catolica de Chile, Allan joins Synergy Engineering with a successful track record
in engineering management, field service fulfillment and technical project execution.
Bilingual in Spanish and English, Mr. Baus possesses a well developed cultural
sensitivity acquired through his working relationships with the numerous international
equipment manufacturers and global engineering firms active in the Chilean market.
In addition, Allan brings to Synergy his hands-on experience in communicating
and leading functions and staff who are culturally diverse and geographically
remote. |

Dermot
Strong, B.Comm, FCC, CA, Board
of Directors
Over 25 years experience in finance and general management spanning
both real estate and operating businesses within internationally-active,
family-owned companies.
Achievements have included raising of funding for acquisition of domestic and
offshore companies; set-up of offshore companies; real estate acquisition in
Canada and United States; raising construction and long-term real estate project
financing; and sale or liquidation of operating companies.
Mr. Strong is currently
President, COO and a director of The BC Bearing Group, an internationally-respected
distributor of industrial
products with operations in Canada, the United States, Chile and Peru. |
