Founder of Synergy Engineering Ltd. in 1987, currently President & Chairman. Previously launched and grew Dynequip Engineering leading to its merger with Transwest Machinery. Over 30 years experience with the design, manufacture
and commissioning of electrical equipment for the materials handling industry.
An accumulated knowledge of the industry gained from previous positions
with General Electric, Wescan Mining Trucks, Dynequip Engineering and Trans
West Dynequip. |

David C. Atkinson, Executive Vice President and Director
Over 30 years of general management experience in natural resource, manufacturing,
process and service industries. Over 15 years of domestic and international
corporate business development experience with demonstrated success in
new company start-up, joint venture creation and integration, merger and
acquisition, strategic alliances, and new product development. Previous
executive roles with Noranda Inc., ABB, and other international corporations
in engineered product and service delivery platform sectors. |

Harry Doughty, A.Sc.T, Vice President
Over 25 years of experience in the
design and delivery of industrial power distribution equipment
including power systems design for complete conveyor drive
and crusher drive systems, the manufacture of associated
switchgear, engineering management, project management. |

Nicole
Hampton, P.Eng, Vice President
Engineering of motor control for
a broad range of materials handling applications. Over 10
years experience in design, manufacture, and testing of wound
rotor motor (WRIM) secondary resistive controllers (SRC).
Internationally recognized subject matter expert in WRIM
SRC technology, providing consulting services for drives,
analysis of existing drive systems, feasibility studies and
WRIM SRC specific technology training. R&D, engineering,
and project management. |

Russell A. Carder, Manager, Instrumentation & Control
Extensive mining history including
supervision of the electrical and instrumentation department
consisting of two trade disciplines in a union environment.
Managed electrical, instrumentation, and process control
maintenance in the mine's fully-automated 35,000 tpd concentrator,
solvent extraction, and secondary crusher plants. Implemented
design, procurement, and scheduling for electrical and control
system expansion projects, upgrades, and new installations. |

Shu Li, Manager, Logistics & Procurement
Ms. Li brings to Synergy over 10 years of experience in international shipping, trade, customs clearance, tracking and trans-shipment logistics, and project logistics management experience, as well as recent familiarity with large-scale material logistics handling. Her early business years were spent in China, with her most recent years here in Canada in positions of increasing responsibility with companies that design, engineer and manufacture large-scale industrial systems for a global customer base.
Shu is a graduate of BCIT's CITT Transportation and Logistics Management Program, holds degrees in Computer Science from the Science & Technology University of China and in International Trade from Ji Lin University. Shu's multilingual capabilities include English, Mandarin and Cantonese. |
